THAT is game over!! The Italians have no permission to use the Trademark anywhere.


I note they (TVR italia) have opposed the re-application that TVR made for the European Trademark but they (the Italians) will lose as TVR will be able to prove that they have continuous use through ownership of the assets etc.

However as the biggest market is the UK and Europeans can buy cars from the UK for export to the mainland I suggest that is more of an 'inconvienience' than a 'game over'

I don't want to predict too much but I don't see the current owners of TVR being fools. I'm sure they have issues like trademarks and logo's very much in hand.

From reading Autocar's Q&A's I'd say they have their priorities pretty much where they need to be.. No ludicrous claims. No plans to build a new factory from Kryptonite. No plans to win the 2015 F1 championship.

Just a plan to get a solid base together for a new production car.
