By far the best are Mickey Thompson Street ET radials. Look up Lee at LA Racing, he will sort what you need.
They are legal on the road but are much softer in the sidewall than regular tyres so not as good in the corners. Ok for a few miles here and there but you really need to swap wheels for road use.
Hopefully get a proper run with my Mickey Thomsons - I only got one run last time due to the bad weather. Derek, how much does your car wobble due to the soft tyres? I definitely backed off near the end of my last run because it felt like the back end had gone all 'floaty' - am sure its just something you get used to, but I was definitely having to adjust steering slightly to keep it going in a straight line.
I have new wheels for the tyres as well now.

Those you have are more hardcore track tyres Nick so probably very soft in the sidewall. Like you say you just need to get used to them. Maybe run higher pressures. I would think 15 psi would make the car feel more stanle and still all the grip you need after a smokey burnout. Derek, how much does your car wobble due to the soft tyres? Mine are the MT Street ET Radials. Fully road legal but a similar compound. Again all the grip i need.

I didn't get an email off you Mac. Try again please.
Strange, anyhow as it may be of interest to others on here,,,,,,,,,,My Unbreakable driveshafts are on their way back to me apparently with correct circlip groove dimensions. But, as they are a smaller diameter shaft I have had to order their CV boots to fit at £86. So my 'reasonably priced' unbreakable driveshafts have come in at £482
I questioned the smaller diameter and they assured me they wont break, fingers crossed eh? Though the reason for getting them in the first place was to remove any fears there

Who makes them Mac? not something I need to worry about at the moment, but interesting for future. And will definitely need a pair for the Cerbera. Got mine from a company called 'GB Engineering', I'll post you details if you want. I know 'dave Mac' does them but since a couple of TVR's have had them they seemed to have significantly increased in price hence the search for another company.macdeb said:

I wonder what Dave Macs prices are now then... at least our good friend (nemesis) Brummmie has tested them with over 600 bhp through hot and sticky drag radials. A 60 foot time in the 1.5s is very impressive for a road car suspensionMPoxon said:
Looking forward to this. Who is comming then?
Just need to refit my starter motor after a head gasket change (yes it does help), fillup with antifreeze, reconnect the battery, refit the bonnet, fire it up and test it, fill my nitrous bottles, pack the car, take a deep breath and head down at 6 am See you there.
