Different people, different perspectives. Non-members or non-tvrcc fans might have a different views to those who are members / tvrcc 'management' regarding TVRCC and new TVR. Dont bite :-)
My point - more eloquently made...should have stuck in at school 😉Me that is..
seen this?
this looks not bad either, a TVR logo concept>

I'm sure they'll be talking to a wider spectrum of folk than just TVR owners, if they didn't they'd be foolish and I'm sure that's not the case. However when marketing to or making announcements the existing ownership/fanbase whether TVRCC or not is always going o be a good place to start.
No not TVR news as there wont be any, Heritage parts made in China, and buying stock from other TVR specialists.
No Designs, have admitted they cannot build cars and a poor mans Aston Martin as quoted in previous interviews!
My money is on the TVR ex employees, as they have the experience and know how to build cars and they have the designs.

no - not tvr news.. "men in shed" ? trying to build a car.. get your own brand name....
TVR news - which came from a business associate/friend of Edgar is they are struggling to build a car or should that be "trying to build a car" and with in budget!!!!
As he said in interviews "no experience in building cars" says it all really.
"Men in shed" is how TVR started, Im sure they are not worried about a brand name they already have one, lets be honest TVR was once a brand when Peter Wheeler owned it now its only a badge!
As quoted by Al Melling:-
"All the tooling is fragmented and in different places, and of course TVR did not have any kind of engineering company systems and logistics, therefore a lot of the information for building cars was in the heads of most of the employees."

I would say they have a very good chance.
Good luck boys Im with you all the way!!!!

The point I was trying to make is Al Melling had connections to TVR, had an understanding of the manufacturing process and even managed to produce a few cars, but still couldnt make it work.
Why would someone buy a new car from someone who has just setup in a shed, knowing that the chances of the company surviving is small and that then the parts & support for the car could become a nightmare and the resale value plummet to next to nothing.
Having said that I hope they prove me wrong and make a success of it.

An anonymous quote from a "business associate" is news?Black Tasmin said:

Neither did Peter Wheeler in 1989, that's why you employ people that do. What you do need is a good business man to run the business.Black Tasmin said:

What has an out of context quote from 6 years ago got to do with anything?Black Tasmin said:

So you think a group with no brand name and little backing has a better chance of building and marketing a new car than a group with a very well known brand and large amounts of investment?Good luck boys Im with you all the way!!!!
