Well the response has been quite an eye-opener to be honest. I have to say before hand I was nudging towards the Chimaera - there's something about the rear-end of the Chim that looks great to me, especially the post-facelift lights. The Griff has got more of a classic look with a more back-to-basics feel, but perhaps turns more heads (I am a poser at heart).

Choices choices....

I think the chim looks much better, more balanced, and with updated lights right up to date

But I was really looking for a griff when I got mine

Having owned a chim 450 and now a cerb I would suggest that you might well hanker after a chim 500 or a griff if you go for a 400 or 450 chim. I personally prefer the griff to the Chim. Also they (Griffs) are a good bet re residuals.
Go Griff 500.

I haven't driven a Chimera, so I don't feel qualified to vote.

GRIFFITH 500.

on a saturday morning when you're washing your choice of car, the griff boot/rear end is just like washing a box with rounded corners, whereas with the rising and falling design, the chimaera's rear end is like soaping and sudding the lower back of a curvaceous woman's body.

Just ask Alex what car he currently drives.
It is Italian.
Closely related to Schuey.
More poncing than prancing though.

hmmm interesting.. on the assumption that whichever car you've got = which car you'd recommend, I'd have thought the Chimaera crowd would have won (as more were made).

Perhaps Griff owners make more noise !!?
