Hi Ntel.anyone contacted local TV about this factory support rally, maybe they would like to there too.Afterall the possible shutdown of the TVR factory is probably the biggest thing since man landed on the moon, that is, to us anyway.

Yip. BBC Northwest Tonight are interested in the story. They will confirm on Thursday if the are sending a camera crew. Granada have yet to respond. The Blackpool Gazette will be there.

Aberdeen yikes . This is fantastic. I can't thank all the Tivvers enough who are travelling 100s of miles to offer their support. I applaud you all clap

Should be outside the factory from about 1.15pm. They factory finishes at 2.00pm so you should be in plenty of time depending on the traffic.

If anyone is going from Yorkshire (I live East/North) and has a spare passenger seat I would love to go to this as a long time TVR fan I just haven't got round to purchasing a tuscan yet but hope to shortly!

Currently out in Saudi so unable to attend but own two of Blackpool's finest. Will be there in spirit and mind all the same.

Brilliant to read these posts and see that TVR enthusiasts from across the UK and possibly further afield are decending en-masse to give their support to the lads and lassies who make these marvellous cars.

Don't think I'll have the Tiv back in time for Friday - but would a Land Rover with a TVR number plate and a TVR Tuscan Challenge flag flying high be able to tag on the end of the convoy??

Cheers - Howard

Edited to say - or I could always bring the trailer & tow the race car behined with a couple of flags attached to the tyre rack??

Any ideas?

Edited by wedgeman on Monday 30th October 09:14
Howard, If you are bringing your race car then I will team up with you and get Mick's race car out to hold the Tuscan Challenge flag. Game on or what buddy!

Absolutely - see you at Pontins! thumbup

Hey guys great idea!!

Hats off to Green Star also for their offer - anyone would think these cars are unreliable for such an offer!

Am considering travelling from the Mids (Leicestershire) - are there any other PHers from this area could perhaps arrange a meet before we set off??

May have a spare seat - prefer slim tall long dark hair sultry looks - ohh n female of course!!!!
