A Ronart Lightning. www.ronart.co.uk
It is a Targa top car
And the important bit, a big V8.

Has anyone driven one of these?
Are they supposed to be any good?

Exclusivity, you're having a laugh arent you?
Much like escorts, if its red, call it a clitoris.
Plotloss, having owned 7 TVR,s over 15 years i more than many on here am in a position to compare a TVR to any other car.
Firstly of all the TVR's i have owned of which 2 were Chimaeras i can confidently say that this model is the best all round TVR. So you own the right TVR, however you are totally wrong about Corvettes being common in the UK, they are not and that is a fact! After 5 weeks of Corvette ownership, I am still trying to find any fault with it and i am a perfectionist.
The Corvette has a fibreglass body with other composite panels which are far superior to TVR, the car has perfect shutlines and body panels which are just like steel panels in thickness also. Also it has a fantastic V8 motor (doesnt sound as good as a TVR) but when it is serviced every 10 thousand miles it costs me 160 quid. I have parked my vette next to all types of TVR and guess what gets the attention, NO YOU ARE WRONG my Vette does, ok there are tens of thousands of mine in the USA, but we are not in the USA so my car is not like a clitoris
P.S. In another way i am glad you think it is a clitoris, as i have had years of enjoyment with many, perhaps your interests lie elsewhere?

No, but I'm starting to think about it. The engine is the Mustang alloy V8 so plenty of horses and reliability the interior looks great too. Reminds me of the Jag XK180 concept car from the front.
Moving on... I would have to pick either a GT40, or a Cobra. Or maybe something like a Panther or Morgan. Hmm, soooo many others to pick from.
No, its no good, if TVR didnt exist, I`d have to change my name to Trevor and start making sports cars!!
