You lot are so impatient.

If he does have pics don't you think it can probably take a bit of time to get them developed and scanned. Plus for someone who's been on here for almost 3 years but only posted just over 200 times means he isn't on here that frequently as he's away from it for quite a bit of the time due to his work.

I hope you're right....but its obvious that posting something like this is bound to create a lot of anticipation. He should at least post to say why there are no pics available yet.....or people will naturally become a little suspicious.

Luca, I will have some photo's of my new carbon fibre dash with the aluminium panel tomorrow. Can I send them to you to post? What file size should they be?

Thanks, Dave.
Please send them through, nice and big please. I'll be able to put them up tomorrow night, as I'm away from home.
Regards
Steve

I've just gone on example from his previous posts.

I'm not one to normally go for blind optimism

Well he said he didn't know how to post them. I assume that everyone uses a digital camera these days?

A little courtesy never hurt anyone though did it?

There are pictures of the T440R all over the Internet, including on Pistonheads and the TVR web site. It looks great. Am I missing something?

I don't know about Tony's information on the RR test (it matches the official spec. so bound to be wrong) but give the guy a break, he's one of us after all

Yes there are out of date pictures on the internet. Pictures of a dusty half finished T440R on Pistonheads.

BUT....

No pictures of a customers car because none (apart from Loons mate) have been delivered mate so it's a 'world' first!

PS. What do you mean by 'RR'?

I don't know where you guys get this RR idea from. I think what Tony's trying to say is... the engine was built up, fitted to the superflow dyno at the factory, run in for a good few hours (they have a procedure for this to bed the rings and so on) , then possibly some alterations to ignition and fuelling to get it on song before a final power run showing 440bhp or so at the flywheel. At this point the engine comes off the dyno and joins the car on the production line.

I'm pretty sure 440bhp will be on the money for these cars.

Guys, Guys, talk about impatient..
1) I"m not winding anybody up
2) I"m on holiday at the moment, back next monday when I shall attempt to post the pictures (sorry for the delay)
3)Apex, the 440 you saw at Rockingham is the actual car, so you can at least verify my claim as very few of our fellow PH ers seem to beleive me !!

The latest with the car now is, he is talking to some engine guru"s about SUPERCHARGING it !!!!!!

Tony..

Loon,

If I owned "your car" I wouldn't be too worried about whether people on here believed you or not.

But for those doubters, yes it exists and looks very menacing.

I have to say I kind of tripped over it in the paddock as in "battleship grey" it blended into Rockinghams glamorous surroundings. The ultimate cameleon paint job ?????
