Got into a car-share scheme at work which ended up with me not using my daily hack - Merc 190E (absolute minter, great car for cruisin'). So I sold it and bought something for the weekend - a 350SE. Absolute stunner, low miles, one owner etc.... I then got chucked out of the car-share scheme because I was always late! Had to keep the wedge though, so bought a knackered old Fiesta. The wedge is now a 4.3 Chim and the Fiesta is now a Ford KA (great commuter car).

Happy as a Tiv on a runway!

I must give up my Alfa Romeo GTJ from 1973 with a body-off restauration..... but i bought a nice 1989 TVR 350i to replace the lovely italian beauty. Problem is that i'm not realy trying to sell the Alfa cause i'm to attached to the car to let it go. But besides that, what a super car a purchased, just the sound of that v8!!!

One of the last Opel Manta GTE's a limited edition with a leather steering wheel no less and a huge spoiler on the back, I guess I was almost a max power freak all those years back, only on my second Tiv, have kept each one for over 7 years both times, but toying with the idea of a Tuscan at the mo, but can't really bring myself to part with the Griff.

Me Too! I had one in Blackberry - great car, nice colour. Traded it for a 2 year old Cosmos blue Chim. Kept that for 2 years then bought my first new TVR - a Purple Paradise 5Ltr Griff, then a Tuscan, now a Tuscan S - God, I must be a Sucker-for-punishment!

Me three! We should form a Corrado withdrawal group! I still quite fancy a Corrado Storm....Trying to persuade Mrs. Nubbin that a Corrado should be her next car!

double trade for me - 1994 BMW M5 Touring and 1987 M3 Trackmeister sold (both via Pistonheads - ta!) to fund 1999 Cerbera 4.5 and 1993 BMW 530i Touring.

540bhp to 640bhp (allegedly!!) in four simple transactions - marvellous!!

cheers
sean

Didn't trade owt in for it... though as the mother in law innocently pointed out when Vicki wanted to know where... after 9 months of no beer and several hours of labour... where her goddamn eternity ring was.... "er, I think it's parked on the drive love"!

Mk2 Golf GTI for my first TVR ... an S2.

Cash for the Griffith ... the dealers didn't seem too interested in a '89 S2 with 99,000 miles on it ... although it was mint
