The first customer T440R was delivered a couple of weeks ago, which I imagine is what Loon is referring to. The car is painted Dark Silver and was indeed at Rockingham recently being given a good "running-in". It's currently back up at TVR in Blackpool having a few things worked on.

I'll post this thread to my brother who is customer N0.2 and his car is currently being built hence the reason why we know quite a bit about the first car.

It wouldn't surprise me if it had been already checked on the rolling road as that's what we've been insisting that TVR do to prove it delivers the goods.

Just another 18 months and 28 more cars and i will have mine, get some pics posted, so desperate to see the finished article

Mine's in primer now (car No2) after 3 years this October the waits almost over (hooray!!!), just changing from reflex Orange to something a bit more subtle colour wise (yet still distinctive) .. Car No1's silver colour is too subtle for me. Gonna be a hell of a get together when the T440S rumble next year ...

Saw it in the plastic today - best looking TVR I've ever seen! It really is absolutely stunning. Can't wait for those factory photos, especially if the 2nd car is a brigher colour. I was told that the visit to the factory was for its first service, so it's obviously clocking up the miles.

hmmm, that a factory car? Certainly not the 1st customer car (the colours similar but wheels/interior are different).

I saw the car in question at HHC this weekend - and didn't take my camera! It looks stunning! All the paw/nose marks on the windows are mine - sorry!

I had the factory tour on Friday Morning - Fantastic - I appriciate much more now what it means to have a handbuilt car. If you haven't done it I hartily recomend it, the Guys and Gals there were really enthusiatic and friendly. The chassis build took me by suprise - It should be strong enough to mount a bus chassis on nevermind a lightweight Tiv, and the amount of manual work that goes into the paint and prep work !

I saw the first customer T440R at the end of the assembly line, due to have a few bits checked over. It looked fantastic and much bigger in the flesh than the pictures suggest, proper 2+2 and massive wheels - not the ususal tarantulas.

That interior layout even for by TVR standards is unique and fantastic

Humm so what are we talking about here? This certainly looks like the Factory demonstartor which has been doing the rounds e.g. saw it at Racing Green in the Spring when Ben drove it down and it was at Goodwood FoS. Or is this the forst customer's car which just happens to be in the same metallic brown? Rich...

First customer car from Harrogate is definately silver. Have a look at these pics I took at a factory tour a few months back (hosted on Luca Brazzi's site): www.sleepy-fish.com/t440r.htm

The colour is 'iced titanium' almost a light gunmetal gray or darkish silver
