Silly question but I thought they werent 2+2?
They were showing off that James Hall wanted a 'dog seat' in the back.
Then I thought they said 2 only with big tank?

I thought the 2+2 thing was optional.

You could have them if you wanted them but if you wanted to save the weight you could delete them.

The 2 + 2 is optional...either 2 extra seats or a bigger fuel tank.

So I understand.....

Humm so what are we talking about here? This certainly looks like the Factory demonstartor which has been doing the rounds e.g. saw it at Racing Green in the Spring when Ben drove it down and it was at Goodwood FoS. Or is this the forst customer's car which just happens to be in the same metallic brown? Rich...

Yup your right it's the concept/evaluation car from the factory. I got to drive it around a bit at Oulton Park

First impressions of my cars big brother:
Ok so this one was a press car and a work in progress but
The up side
1) Another great shape and style (well done TVR)
2) The brakes are to die for

The down side
2)It's ridiculously noisy (all that carbon fibre
resonating)wil they ever get that sorted out ?
3)It's not as madly powerful as you'd think. They have
to get the engine supercharged or it doesn't warrant
the money
4) They have to get the handling sorted out,
generally, and to match the performance. currently
a dangerous car

Overall:
Currently underdeveloped

But then if you want something that feels developed buy a T350 !!!!!

...takes cover!

(sorry about me ugly mug by the way)

a) The 390bhp Tuscan S engine or the full monty 4.2 440 engine ?
b) Sequential gearbox ?

Only a bit jealous

The 4.2, but they still want to blow it so that it will produce nearer 500

Don't be jealous though, your Tusk is a better developed car ........(at the moment)

Just another 18 months and 28 more cars and i will have mine, get some pics posted, so desperate to see the finished article

Mine's in primer now (car No2) after 3 years this October the waits almost over (hooray!!!), just changing from reflex Orange to something a bit more subtle colour wise (yet still distinctive) .. Car No1's silver colour is too subtle for me. Gonna be a hell of a get together when the T440S rumble next year ...

Do you realise how annoyed i am at you..how dare you come on this post and upset me with your tales of joy...

Cheer up - Chris has just added one of the best guys from the regular factory production team so build times should start to shrink a bit (but not much given how much loving atention is lavished on each of them). Saw mine yesterday and it is progressing well. I'll stick a pic or two up in a mo ..

Mine is being fitted with the 70 litre fuel tank AS WELL as detachable rear squabs (so can be either a 2 or 2+2 if I choose), the rear harnesses are fixed but of negligable weight.

Are there still vibration issues with the Carbon Fibre?
