I followed the same approach Puff. Never go out if it’s rained, looks like it’s going to rain, or even if rain if forecast in two days time hehe

Reduces chances of near death experiences for both the car and driver and stops the chassis melting hehe

I used to get about an inch of water sloshing back and forth in the drivers footwell of my Cerbera.

Looks at door seals, window rubbers, then after a few weeks I noticed that from inside the front wheel arch I could see the back of the footwell carpet!

No TVR has been cutting edge.

I'm not looking to get into an argument about this, I just don't think you can ever call TVR cutting edge.
1970's M series car, first car to crash into MIRA's 30mph wall and still steer afterwards (god knows what state the bonnet was in mind you!)

1970's worlds first production turbo car (not limited edition like BMW 2002 Turbo), forced Saab to retract their advertising campaign as they were claiming first production turbo.

This is a good point... and lets not forget that Jesus was a carpenter too........ I like Morgans.. however much it goes against the grain... And, lets face it, this stuff doesn't grow on trees...........

Takes Koenigsegg 16 cars to get through the tests and that's very frugal.
Koenigsegg used 1 car.

But that's the equivalent to 16 Griffiths price wise or thereabouts smile

Or was it 1 Koenigsegg rebuilt 15 times.

OK so to be fair they say often manufacturers use 16 cars for crash test, my mistake.

However it wasnt one car they used, it was one carbon tub and the rest of the car was rebuilt loads of time until final crash test.

Rain doesn’t discriminate melts all
TVR chassis.

As for the driving, if you’re happy tootling around in the wet, go for it. I’ll stick to the Range Rover in the wet hehe

You should have more respect for your TVR Alun. They’re like gremlins. Never add water hehe

Love this, mention that Morgan has a much better business model than TVR ever did/has and all the TVR fanboys go off on one about how good the TVR looks compared to a Morgan!

How do you all manage to hold down jobs if you can't read and comprehend basic English?

Personally I hate Morgans. And their owners, generally. I love TVRs I don't think there has been a car which has come out of the Blackpool factory that I don't like.

Anyway, enough of this levity. Has any diggers been seen in South Wales yet?

I'm suprised you have access to any of TVRs' or Morgans' or any other companies Business Models , but you just have an opinion , best kept to under wraps , like this thread smile

Because your opinion is more important than mine? Therefore mine is invalid?

It is blindingly obvious (without access to any business models) that TVRs didn't/doesn't work and Morgan's does. One company has full order books (God knows why) and one has, erm some stickers on a Rebellion LMP1 car.

But don't worry, because there will be a promise of an update soon...

Not at all, but your comments have referred to "proper" TVR not the new boys on the block !!!!

TVR’s business model seemed to work in the 90’s, with the Griffith and Chimaera. Where they went wrong was not focussing on build quality, and building their own underdeveloped (at the time) engines.

If build quality had been improved, and a reliable engine been installed (possibly a crate V8 that people were crying out for), could TVR have survived?

There was nothing to rival, (and still isn’t) the looks of the Tuscan.

In my humble opinion , it was nothing to do with Business Models, but call it PWs Ego or obsession to have an English powered straight six engine ( true to historical British sportscars) . But for a small company in the late '90s the development costs of their own engine was prohibitive but they did succeed at the expense of the company frown . And it was "Cutting Edge" .
