Morning MrsNtel wavey

I am glad you have highlighted this point. It was only when I walked past you accidentally at the pub on the Blackpool Rally that I realised you were collecting the dosh! I'd been wondering all day who I was supposed to give the money to as I wasn't in the line up on the prom!

It would be a lot easier for people to donate in advance yes

shout Roll Up, Roll Up

There has been an overwhelming request to ensure that any surplus funds raised, after covering the costs of workers' transport and refreshments on the day, remain with the workforce rather than a charity. This event being entirely democratic will naturally ensure that this does happen. A worker's Christmas party has received several "votes", as have vouchers, BUT WHAT SURPLUS?

At this rate, there will be little, if anything left over. An on-line donation facility has been created to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to safely make a contribution before the day.

If you do wish to make a donation, and it is by no means compulsory, please do so here:

Many thanks for your continued support, let's make it a day for the workers to remember.
Cheers
David

Done - if there is a surplus then i suggest toys for the kids to help out a little for Christmas or shop vouchers for the workforce etc would be the way to go - If we need to top this up in early December to have a worthwhile fund for this then i will put some more into the pot then. If enough people forego a few miles driving and instead donate the price of half a tank of V Power then we could have a reasonable sum, it wouldn't be huge but it could be enough to help those that need it most at a difficult time of year to be up against it - AJ
