Marketing Strategies Of Sports Cars: A Case Study Of TVR
Discussion
For those of you who are interested, and have been following some of my threads, I have made my dissertation available for you to read (courtesy of UncleDave )
A lot of what has been written has been done so in an academic sense as the intended audience is my tutor - who isn't a TVR enthusiast, lol - and basically to get a good mark. The report doesn't fully reflect my passion for TVR, as I have to be objective in my writings.
It is all solely my own opinions, which you may or may not agree with.
Anyway, Enjoy!

My pleasure, it's such a shame most peoples dissertations are only read by their tutors and perhaps mum and dad. I thought, I had a captive audience here, so might as well pop it up.

Interesting read - thanks for posting! Good luck with your final grade...
Funny - the one marketing tool that stands out in my mind but not mentioned in the report, is the Clarkson drag race of the Cerbera that was playing over and over on a video loop on the TVR stand at the motorshow one year...

Page 56: "Most of TVR’s marketing has been through car magazines writing about new models and their performance when they were first launched. Also they have been popularised though the reports on car and driving programs such as Top Gear and Vroom Vroom."
