How do the latter TVR's compare - drivers/owners car
Discussion
From my own experience having owned two Griff's, a T350 and now a Chimaera. Out of the box the T350 was best drive without doubt, brakes, handling etc. [did have to rev the 3.6 quite a bit to get moving though]
I loved them all, but for one reason or another at the time I went 'back' to an RV8 car which I've had for over 9 years and spent a fortune on it in that time [don't ask, it's ] I honestly now can't ever seeing me parting with it. [and I've been asked a few times to sell it]

I've driven a Chimaera 500 back to back with my 4.5 Cerbera.
The power delivery is very different. The AJP8 is a more frantic feeling engine, as is the Speed Six IMHO. The RV8 has a great lazy quality. The TVR designed engines are also great but in a demented way.
I like the Cerbera's longer wheel base. As TVR's go it's quite easy to chuck around.
As above, get to a club meet and try them all for size. Some find the Cerb claustrophic. I find it fits like a glove.

I've had my cerbera mapped so the torque curve bangs in at 2K revs, which makes it a very lazy beast to drive. I don't have that changing gear to keep it above 3k revs issue and it's made a huge difference to the car IMHO. Still got the same focussed power delivery reving up towards 8K revs (and pops and bangs coming down between 4-3k) but I can also potter about if required.
