Oh man, I hate you all! Since participating in this thread I've spent the day trawling the PH.com classifieds and spotted a couple of Cerbies at really good prices that I would love to own. Checking out insurance quotes etc too. It's just soooo tempting - 420bhp for the price of my tractor-powered hatchback....

My sense of humour is'nt anywhere near as good as yours, after all you live in a country full of Muscle cars and Hotrods but you drive a German shopping trolley just for a laugh

German cars thats a laugh, many of them are now turning into the worst quality motors you can buy, and bent over and taken from ...with the price to boot. All about image with these cars, and people are starting to see through the marketing blurb.I can tell ( inside info) most of the German car makers no there cars are poor very poor, many of the brands top men in the u.k would not touch there own product. Its also getting worse not better because of unions e.t.c in Germany (sound like u.k leyland , jag, ford e..t.c in the 70's).The average Ford is now a better quality car than most of the German products, and a gift on the used market.Come out from behind the mask of i am grown up in my German motor, so many of the owners don't talk about all the problem because they feel , that they bought the car for quality and no breakdown factor, and don't want look like a muppet when they talk about how many problems they really have with them. !!
