So just to clarify does the chassis need modifiying to get this splendid article in place?
I have been told that no chassis modifications are required. Have yet to follow up the e-mail with a "great, how much £ for how much BHP and how long to fit one"

It Does go in

But the room for exhausts, starter, alternator, pump etc is so limited
You would have either a really bad engineered car, or a complex expensive car at best,

. I can't see the point

Is your sump going to be the lowest point?
I ask because thats how i set my height, i clamped an H section across the bottom rail, and rested the engine with sump, on the top.
Lots of speed bumps around here!
Plus trackdaying etc...

sorry to ask,
a speed six has 330hp/380lb
a 4.2 has 350 hp/420lb

so why change?
is it difficult to 'spec' up a speed six to greater power?

pancholi - these are Chevrolet LS engines http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GM_LS_engine

Reasons to use them - more reliable, more torque especially mid range, cheaper servicing.
Reasons not to - I won't even go there wink

Edit - you've also got the bhp and torque the wrong way round.
