Hi,

I'm visiting the UK from New Zealand and have a camping pass for Le Mans. Rather than taking a boring rental, I'm prefer to travel in something more interesting, such as someone's sports car. I'm 35 years old, and back home drive a Lotus Esprit V8.

For a lift to Le Mans and back, I'll of course pay half your ferry/tunnel, petrol, and any accommodation costs along the way.

I'm based in East Sussex, so could meet you at a convenient point on the M25, etc.

Either contact me thru this posting or on mcarroll_nz@hotmail.com, thanks. However, I don't have regular access to Internet, so it might be easier to call me on 07799068598 (a UK mobile). Note that I'll be in Turkey from Mon 24 May until Mon 31 May, so if you call during that time, then please leave a voicemail and I'll call you when I get back.

Look forward to hearing from you! Thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Mike Carroll.

There is someone in the Le Mans forum currently looking for a passenger in his SEAC. I'll try and find the thread. Hang on...

I might be able to sort you out a lift back on the Sunday. Only the one way though.

Thanks for getting back to me - I'll follow up the lead.

Sorry for so many posts, but didn't know who read which forums!

Cheers, Michael.

Just to let anyone know who's interested that it's all sorted out. Travelling there and back in a TVR 450 SEAC, along with 20 other TVR's. Excellent!

Thanks for all the help.

Cheers, Michael.
