I've just renewed my AA cover, and they have finally changed their policy of not recovering cars "if" they breakdown on a trackday

Alas the RAC and Green Flag still class a trackday as motorsport, and do not cover trackday recovery.

However I have seen Green Flag attend snetterton a few weeks ago and recover a broken 350c, so I guess if the car broke down when in the paddock, and you were not on the track when it happened then they would recover you.

All in all, it's great to see that the mighty AA now realise what some of their members want!

I thought they've always recovered cars from trackdays? A mate of mine had his recovered from Hullavington after his fuel pump packed up.

I was told when i renewed it last time, that trackday cover was not available as they classed it as motorsport. The only time the car has failed on a track day, was up at Bedford, and i had to blag a tow from the marshall to the car park by the entrance, then get the 3rd degree from the recovery driver, who reluctantly took the car away for me.
