Anyone going to Outlton Park, near Chester, for the TVR Challenge, British GT's, F3 and a whole load more over the weekend of 17th/18th July?

Would have like to have but been to so many race meetings this year that I need to make some spare time.

So instead Im taking the Griff Drag racing at the Thorney island meet!
(In other words, the hot rodders get a bigger chance than at PF to make a TVR look slow )

I'm thinking of going. I'll be more certain if I can get a lift rather than taking the stbox. It's a bit harder to summon the enthusiasm for driving it that far.

Mind you I have been getting great handfuls of oversteer in it, and it's a 1.2 Clio! Perhaps I should invest in some rear tyres .

I'll be going (in a Merc CLK). Last year, there was a huge TVR (Car Club??) stand; if the stand is there this year, will there be any PHs on there? If so, would it be OK to come up and have a drool?

Thanks, Im gonna need it.

I was thinking of running a dress and sprint down the strip. It might get less laughs and more of a cheer!

I'll be there but I don't know what in yet.

The Griff is in for a possible Cam replacement so I might have to go in the Vorsprung.

Hope the weather is as hot as last years meeting. 30 odd degrees if I remember correctly.

Great Circuit, Great Cars and Great day out!

It looks like there will be me and a few others tipping up with a caravan (I know the shame! ) on the Saturday and staying over for the Sunday too.

If there's any Booze & BBQ action going on count us in.

Oh and Ted, Hobnobs please.

The Staffordshire contingent should be attending on the Sunday, and I'll be along for both days.

Owing to the pressures of work, sprints and hillclimbs and maintaining some semblance of contact with my wife, this will be the first GT/Tuscan event I've been to in ages and I can't wait!

Looking forward to seeing a few familiar faces there.
