My Griff was on the Polishing Co stand on the Sunday of PistonFest. After seeing how easy it looked to use the products I bought the big set which included;
- shampoo
- wheel gel
- P21S Gloss enhancing paintwork cleanser
- P21S Concours Look Carnauba Paste Wax
- 303 UV protectant (interior)
- and some other bits

I used it all at the weekend and the car has never been so shiny. Bling!

The best bit though was after a weekend run (211miles) through occasional showers it still looked pretty good. To get it back to immaculate I gave it a fine mist of water and wiped it clean with a microfibre towel and it was immaculate again.

The products were very easy to use, much easier than other polishes/waxes I've used in the past.

I also used the wheel gel on my brakedust black Golf wheels which also had tar spots on them. It cleaned them up good an' proper with out to much hassle.

The Polishing Co will be at Griff Growl.
I can recommend the products they sell and their friendly serivce.

This time I intend to buy more of the excellent microfibre towels.

£60
Nicely packaged in a hardplastic box with foam inserts and a big pic of a Tamora on the front.

There was also a cheaper package for £40 that didnt include the shampoo and some of the other bits.

The good think about the products 9especially the shampoo and wheel cleaner) is that they dont contain nasty harmful ingredients so none of it damages your paint. It also smeels nice!

I used the products in the order listed in my first post and at the end the body felt like it was encapsulated in a hard shiny shell.

Im also going to buy one of those dusting mops too so that I can just wipe the dust of every time I get it out. (fnarr fnarr)

Was it the P21S Wheel cleaner you bought Adam (green slimy stuff?)

If so I haven't found a better product.

It was green stuff in a squirty bottle (hows that for technical talk!).

I cant remember what it said on the label but it is excellent.

On my Golf I had cleaned one wheel with Mer and it took one hour. With the P21S it took about 30 mins to do all four wheels. One of them needs a second go but the good thing is that Im not harming them with powerful chemicals.

I looked round for them on Sunday but didn't notice them! In fact I thought it was a bit bleak everywhere that day. Do they have a web-site where you can by mail order?

Mike from The Polishing Company and his wife Amanda did our TVR's on the Piston Fest stand this year after seeing him in action at the East Midlands TVR Car Club Meeting in Lincoln.

Nice couple and he worked his socks off valeting our cars as they got soaked every two hours in the bad weather.

He did a few wings on TVR's to show the difference between his products and many leading brands in the shops.

His email is

Nice guy and great products.

He didnt have dusting mops.

The only place i have found for the so far is Frosts. They were about £20-£25 I think.

The Kit I bought is this one
www.thepolishingcompany.com/completecarcarek.html
Including a "303 Aerospace Protectant 8oz £ 9.95" for the interior which is excellent stuff. It also makes the back window visible and soft so it no longer creases.

He's also bringing some of them collapsible buckets to the Growl.
I'll speak to him and see if he's prepared to offer us any deals on the day.
He has also put up a prize for the raffle.
I bought some stuff at the East Mids meet around 3 months ago and the stuff is very easy to use, effective and damn good value. Particularly like the 303 as it makes the rear screen sooooooo soft.

Just been chatting with Mike of the Polishing Company.

He will take some of the collapsible buckets to Griff Growl. They will be about £7.99.

Please email him if you want one so he can get an idea of how many to take.

mailto:tpcl@thepolishingcompany.com

Thanks.

And easy to use. I just sit in the seat, pretend I'm spraying flies, then wipe it off. Brilliant and good fun too! I'm almost starting to look forward to cleaning the car.

Hi all you P21S addicts

Just to say a big thank you for all the kind words you have said about us.
Note on the towels a) I am running low so may be a bit before I can get some more as they come all the way from Australia!
b) They are detailed under the page on microfibre cloth kits which you can access from the "for your car" page.
For those who missed us at PistonFest (Now how could you have done that, Amanda was at the entrance handing our fliers on the way in and as you left! you must have been at the NSRA do next door!), we were next to Top Cats racing. Unfortunately everything blew down on Friday so it was just that shiny selection of Ultima's and TVR's and a few flags. Never mind you can all buy loads at the Growl! Bring your wings and I'll polish them! Hopefully it will be a better weekend. I will be at the hotel as well if anyone wants to talk polish! (Sad really aren't we?) Any questions or queries don't hesitate to e-mail me. info@thepolishingcompany.com
