I've had a letter this morning, from the events organiser at Chatsworth. It's definitely on!! They will reserve an area close to the house, "on the first area of fibresand", and they are expecting "about 70 TVR's from 12.30 onwards". The parking will be £1.00, and they have said they will put up some signs, and the parking chappie will guide us to the right place. So get your little Union Jack downloaded here:-

put your name on it, obviously, get it in your windscreen, and see you all next weekend.

Sorry I haven't put anything on the front page yet Nubbin. It's been a hell of a week. I'll try to get something up there this weekend to swell numbers etc.

Excuse my ignorance - but how do we download this????

Re Chatsworth - maybe more than 70 cars. Our NW, N Wales, Manchester, Cheshire TVRCC region can probably muster a dozen plus alone!

Incidentally, anyone at a loose end this weekend, come along to the Classis & Sports Car show at Tatton Park, Cheshire this weekend. We have a club display there. Its on from Saturday to Monday. Sorry, you cannot take your cars onto the stand but feel free to come and support us. We won the award for the best club display last year with pride of place being the Tuscan R.

Looking forward to Chatsworth - praying for BBQ weather. Well done to Nubbin for organising it!

Bryan, I think you can just click on the image and "save picture as" to your own hard drive. Or go to CleG's website and download it from there. (If you click on "quote", and copy the picture's URL, without the [pic] bits, that should take you there)

Not going to get my baby back in time, so one less TVR to make it. Still intend to come along in the everyday car though, and will be flying the flag.

Hope the weather is as good next weekend, its been a belter so far here (Rugby) this weekend. Not that I've seen too much of it, under the cosh in the offic at the moment. Looking forward to some R&R next weekend.

Most of the weather websites are saying cloudy, warmish, 30% risk of rain. Could be better, but could be worse! Should have a better idea on Friday....

Bryan (or anyone else), is there a convoy going from the NW area? I moved back to Rochdale at the weekend and will be going to Chatsworth in my Scirocco Storm and my Dad is coming in his Calibra DTM (unfortunatley my Chim is STILL being repaired - 5 weeks and counting )

Any of you guys coming up from London etc - can you e-mail me off line, so that I can find out when you'll be hitting Chesterfield area - I want to video your convoy on the A617 into Chesterfield. I'll let you have my mobile number, and you can ring me when you all peel off the M1, and I'll get the camera ready!!

This is not a TVR only event. The more exotics/sports cars the merrier.

RCA,

Emil me your phone number and we'll call you at a pre-arranged point and you can join us on the way.

I've got 1 arrangement like this already at J15a, so we'll likely stop there to meet at least 1 other car after calling them from J15. If you want and can work out timings then we could do that for you aswell. As for timings for J21....about 10:30am to 11am ??? I am guessing here. I do S London to Donington in uner 2 hrs regularly, but we will probably be less extreme in our pursuit of speed which is normally driven by my lateness for a race meeting !!

Nubbin,

I have emailed yourself offline reference the video shoot

Cheers

Mark
