Hi All

I've arranged for us to have a area set out in the main grass car park at thruxton for the up and coming GT racing on the 29th & 30th of this month.

The track security will be guiding all members (who wish to join us) to the specified area.

Do any of the other RO's wish to bring their banners & gazebos? If so can you email me with approximate sizes as I'll be there from 7am trying to set it all out!

Also anyone wishing to camp can do so free of charge but its on a first come basis.

Thanks

Craig Adams
Regional Organiser
TVRCC Hampshire

P.S. Any hants members wish to lend me a hand in the morning setting this out?

Edited to add: The tickets are £22 per person for the two days

And only TVRs are allowed in the reserved area! Sorry!

Craig

What are the details of entry price etc?

I'd probably be available to lend a hand setting out if needed.

Just for info using the words "camp" and "come" in the same sentance is usually not advised!!!!!

Well done Craig, nice one.

Echoing Teds question, will Non TVRs be allowed to park there?

being a newbie to this Tuscan challenge racing, can someone tell me whether its sunday/monday they are racing/partying or saturday/sunday?

I take it that the proposal to camp was for sunday night and not saturday then? I am at a wedding reception on Sunday but I can always refrain from drinking, show my face and head back to Thruxton as its only an hour or so away.

thanks for that. I guess I'll assess what the other Hants region members are going to do re camping. If there isn't many up for it I'll just head home sunday night and back on the monday.

That would have been me

Got tentative "ok"'s from 2 other VX's when I posted it on our board last week. Probably more when we get nearer the date as we've all been following the progress of the VX GT car.

Are we invited into the TVR enclosure?

You are all invited to join the TVR Tuscan teams on the Sunday evening in the paddock.

We will be hosting a BBQ, although we would ask that you bring along something to sling on the coals and your favourite tipple.

sounds like a fine plan, Beer + Food as normal, just a change in geography basically

I wondered about that. If I get one of these tickets, can I spend all day wandering in and out of all the hospitality tents knicking champagne and vol-au-vents ?
