Hi all
I`ve had a couple of E-mails over the summer enquiring
about the Meon Valley run we had planned for the summer
Ive had a "bit on my plate" over the past couple of months so it went on the back burner
I surgest we make the most of the weather and light tomorrow, and combine this little run with the Hen and Chicken meet, the plan of attack will be
Leave WICKHAM SQUARE as near to 7.00pm as possible
post if you think you may be a COUPLE of minutes late,
I will then take us through the following Villages,
SOUTHWICK
DENMEAD
HAMBLEDON
CLANFIELD
EAST MEON
LANGRISH
STEEP
FROXFIELD
PRIORS DEAN
Then rejoining the A32 at the top end
just before our Stretching of the legs up the A31
It`s a nice sadate run thruogh picture card villages
the hole run should just be done in the daylight
p.s it`s my birthday so i will be wearing my new TVR Owners T-shirt
See you tomorrow
Tony

Hi Harry
Been a bit tied up with work, and the car was off the road for a short while.
Look forward to seeing you.

Funnily enough I was looking at the new Hants website and realised I used to only attend on an infrequent basis in the days when I had my S. Since having the Chim I dont think I have missed many. Unfortunately its a work thing that I just cannot get out of - annoying on such a beautiful day.

Talking of missing faces, Tony, saw you roll into the car park SUnday at POTB and before I looked around again you were driving out? never got a chance to say hi...

Have a good blast tonight chaps. Keep it sunny side up.

Good diversion Tony, shame the evenings are closing in, It'll probably be the last evening one possible during daylight(ish) hours tis year . However there are always sundays.
Hope you liked Tim's Lax Power addition to the car , might try to make it permanent, the blue neons go well with the green paintwork don't you think .
Thanks Alan/Tony for lighting up the road for me on the run back, the S does seem to have candles and not headlights, I'm sure of it .
Also soz to Simon for incorrectly calling his 4.3 pre-cat a 4ltr after commenting on how well it pulled when we hit the dual carriageway before the pub .

Er Craig said something about the next meeting is in Scotland on a Sunday (not) and Tony is running a Bling competition to see if we can improve on Harry's blue headlights.

Apart from that lots of cars out in the dark from a 350i wedge to Tamora.
