Does anyone have a spare they would be willing to sell me? I'm really after just the casing and output shafts so the internals can be crap if need be as I have a new LSD to go inside but have no donor. Any help would be very much appreciated!

Thought I saw a btr diff for spares with a good casing in the classifieds, but seems to have disappeared now.

I don't suppose a BTR from a Tuscan is of any use?

(I purchased it to install a Quaife non hydratrac ATB and a different final drive ratio for my project, but the diff has gone in a different direction since then so I don't need it...)

Hi Nick,

Good luck with the search mate...not wishing to hijack your thread ....but after a set of btr diff mounts for my challenge car...don't suppose you have a spare set?

No, T cars used hydratrak diffs which won't work for this purpose. Found one now though so I'm all good I think!

Steve: No not got any mounts either and I don't expect you'll find any from what I've heard. We're just going to make some on the car, maybe add a bit more strength while we're at it so it doesn't go anywhere...

If you could that would be helpful as that would make Steves job much easier! If you get any more info please give me a call. Mine should have been at Silverstone, it only wasn't as its Swedish diff decided to st itself on the dyno. Got a plate diff being made up now so hopefully it just needs a diff and then some general tidying up and we're good to go so aiming for oulton :-)

If I can sort it would you want a set then ?

Wonder if any of the other Chellnge folk would be interested in. Group buy.....bit of a random set of bits...that fall in to the hens teeth category.....I

Ihave some spare wishbones and a btr diff cover with a remote breather set-up....plus an app engine loom fo a challenge car...plus some other stuff..

Looking forward to seeing your car ...might get to Oulton Silverstone was good!

Yes if you can get a few sets made then I'm sure there would be a market for them as there are no more new ones for sale anywhere as far as I'm aware. I'd definitely be interested in a set.

I may be in the market for some front wishbones soon as well as mine runs some custom made ones from the Swedes which look great and very strong, but Steve has concerns over the amount of castor achievable with them as they're equal length so you can't achieve much offset against the bottom ones. Might be easier just to stick on some standard ones...

I'm also very much looking forward to seeing mine out! Got some proofs back of the car from the graphics guy the other day - shameless showing off but I think it looks pretty awesome and will be over the moon if it looks half as good in the flesh!

Thanks guys, glad you like it. It's been a bloody long journey getting a pile of Tuscan bits to this stage but I'm very much looking forward to finally getting behind the wheel in DTEC :-)

Haha thanks! Sorry but you can't get enough Tuscan porn really... I'd go for purple - very nearly did myself and I think its looks great, also I can think of 4 yellow Tuscans off the top of my head so they're common as muck at the moment! It will be a beast, but I fear not beastly enough now class A+ exists - think we'll need a 7L LS monster to do justice. We'll start with baby steps though and see how it goes :-)
