I'm sorry to have to break the news of the death of Fly Fifer (Kevin Braid). Kevin was brutally murdered last Sunday and will be much missed by all who knew him. He was a regular contributor to the forums and his love for his XJ8, Chimera, and Triumph was well known.
No date for his funeral has been announced yet due to the ongoing police investigation.

Sorry to hear that. Thanks for letting us know. I think someone mentioned it last week but it wasn't a name many of us recognised. I hadn't realised he was a PHer

Grim. Google on Kevin Braid and you'll find some Scottish newspaper stories reporting his death. A terrible way to leave this earth.

I remember reading about this in the paper on Monday.

What with this and the conviction of the man who executed his 18year old Girlfriend on the Glenifer Braes.

Condolences to his friends and family

Kevin took the time to reply to an email I sent him just before Le Mans asking for some Chimaera information, he was really helpful and seemed (from his e-mails) like a nice guy.

Shocked to read the article.......

Apart from what was in the news, I saw a picture of the Chimara in the local paper (Fife Courier). Hadn't seen him at the local TVRCC meets, but didn't think to look on PH.

Tragic.

I saw the article on the local news, and then heard he was a TVR owner. Never came across him at any of the local events, and like Neil never thought to check out PH. Condolences to nearest and dearest of the 2 victims.
