Ok, someone had to take the initiative..!
Further to the new thread being bourne out of the last half dozen or so posts in this old thread:

The suggestion is for a mid Sussex meet ahead of the worst of the Winter. Several Haywards Heath owner's seem up for a run out, probably on Sunday 21st November - and as the Horsham owner's were thinking the same thing (after the success of their 2nd run to Racing Green a few weeks ago), it makes sense to all get-together and perhaps link up with the West Sussex meet down at Goodwood circuit.
This is me just getting the topic rolling under it's own thread; put a date in the diaries etc. The plan can develop as we go along...

At the suggestion of Cosmoschick on page 15 (not Page 3 Nick, sorry!) of this thread (and a fine suggestion it was too), here is a concise synopsis of the final plans for this jolly out this coming Sunday - 21st November 2004.
Horsham area PHers plus Harrow PHer (maddog-UK) to meet The Carfax in Horsham town-centre at 10am
Haywards Heath/Burgess Hill area PHers meet Fox & Hounds car park at 10am
Collective rendezvous at the MacDonalds/BP garage at Buck Barn on the A24/A272 crossroads no later than 10:30am
From there, on to Goodwood to meet with the West Sussex TVRCC owners for 11am.
Finally, leaving there for the Bosham Inn, Emsworth PO18 8PW to arrive around 12:30pm to meet with the Hants area PHers for lunch.
I think that about covers it! Clear enough? Any questions, you'll have to read the next 15+ pages...!

Hello - yes, I was a little defficient in the pulling of finger department this afternoon (w*rk got in the way), so well done CharlieAlpha for taking the initiative.
21st sounds like a fantastic idea. Cosmos, book the weather and leave Dawn alone...
Mid-Sussex doesn't actually exist, it's just so we can choose to be Easties or Westies as the mood takes us
Right, off to find beer...

Hi Trinity - hope you're planning to revert to your BH roots for the run!
I guess our plans all depend on when and where all the other groups (Horsham, West Sussex etc) are meeting up.
I'd suggest that the Mid-Sussex types meet up at the Fox & Hounds car park, just outside HH on the B2112. The time depends on when and where we need to be to join the larger convoy.
Could someone let us know where Horsham are meeting and what their plans are (and whether they mind being hijacked by the Mid-Sussex posse
)?
I think we could probably find a pub en route to avoid the need for packed lunches!
Looking forward to the run...

Only a suggestion, but why dont we all meet at the Little Chef at West Grinstead/Buck Barn? Either as the only meet for us all or for both parties Mid Sussex & Horsham to get together after your own mini-meets, for the final 'push' to Goodwood.
Obvioulsy, with my locality to that particular Little Chef and the chance of an Olympic breakfast before the 'off', I'm all for this option

That sounds good to me Nick. The Horsham massive could meet in the Carfax as usual and rendezvous with the BH/HH guys 'n' gals out at the Little Chef.
I understand that the West Sussex owners meet up at Goodwood Circuit at 1100 - for an 1130 departure for the Bulls Head at Fishbourne (for lunch I guess). It would be good if someone from West Sussex actually picked up this thread!
Is there anybody out there...?
