...........
Just recieved this email from our regional TVRCC top man....
Not sure if they are going to ask you for a TVRCC membership number, but if you are a member it's a bit of a bargin, if only I wasn't having a small cash flow issue
Might pop along with the camera though if anyones going

Don't think so, it's an RMA trackday, they are usually very well run, usually open pitlane and it's quite rare to find the full Donington track being used, when I've been to RMA trackdays in the past the standard of cars and driving has been very high
Yes, the car on the right is a Porsche GT1

Work has been manic for the last few months so i'm ready to get out and about.
Can't make karting though as me and Linds are having a much needed weekend away without the little fella!
I'll also be in need of a volunteer to drive the S/Scoob down to Donny for the 6th so i can do a back to back test and finally make my mind up which one to keep and which one to sell.
I've been considering Jools's S as an alternative so there is lots to discuss.
Cheers.

I'm thinking of going for this, but have never done a track day before. As I don't own a helmet do the organisers always have enough to rent out?
Also, whats the consensus on Track Day insurance. Is this mandatory/good idea/not worth it. I know that these events are excluded in my policy.
I guess it would make sense to have some instruction on the day. I believe that you get 2x30mins for £60 - seems good value.
Probably see you all there.

the only advice I feel able to give here is: buy your own helmet

I'd second that, even if they do have a few kicking about they are going to be as nice as the lids you get at most karting places, I've actually seen someone throw up in one of those
Pop along to your local Bike clothing place, and you'll get a BS approved lid, for under £50 it might be last years colours, but thats not really an issue, and it's going to be a lot nicer place to put your head, and it's going to fit properly, bottom line really is how much do you think your heads worth
