NEW Leven windscreen washer kit....!

Got a call from Simon at Leven the other day asking me to come in and test some parts, so this afternoon I've popped over to sunny (!?) Basildon to fit the prototype. He also said I could post the information if I wished... so here it is! 
The new kit comprises of two new wiper blades which have spray jets built into the side of them (thee jets on each side), the tubing to connect to the car, and two new wiper arms.
This removes the traditional "hoop" of tubing from TVR, and replaces the previous Leven spray kit... and there are no screws are involved.
I'm going to be running the system as a trial for a little while, and giving feedback to Leven on how they perform.
I've just come down the A127 and A130 is the tipping rain, and they certainly seem to work very well. No lift on the wipers and the blades curve to the screen and sweep all but a tiny portion on the passenger side by the tax disc; so an improvement on the OEM jobs.
As the arms are included in the kit, fitting is simple... disconnect the tubing, use a spanner to remove the existing wiper arm... replace with the Leven one, and then connect the tubing - repeat on the other side.
It's tipping down here at the moment, so I'll take some photos tomorrow and post them up.

Off the top of my head I would guess that they'll fit a Tamora. IIRC the blades fitted by Leven on my car are 16"... one of which is quite curved.
I'm hoping to catch up with a mate of mine who owns a Tamora this weekend, so I'll let you know.

1) It saves messing about with modifying the existing system.
2) It is quicker and easier to fit than the previous version (although I had no issues with that).
3) Since it includes new blades and arms (therefore new springs) it ensures that everything is changed at the same time, to ensure that you "get a better wipe"
4) They sit lower on the car, so don't move at speed, and the jets deposit LOADS of water on the screen - but as it sits lower it doesn't get caught by the wind at speed.
5) The blades are different on passenger and drivers side, so fit the profile of the screen much more effectively, so clear a better area.
Its stopped chucking it down now, so I'll nip out with the camera... back in about 20.

Nope.
Leven did the vast majority of the testing on their Griff, I'm just testing the last prototype as I'm a daily driver and I pass their place on the way to / from work.
As the spray jets are on the side of the wiper, the water lands directly in front of the screen - even at (ahem) motorway speeds.
The water gets thrown off on the driver side of the car. I've not tested it with the roof off myself... so that'll be a job for tomorrow then!

No, not if your going fast enough!
Unfotunately all the NSLs near me have now been reduced to 40s with speed cameras.Which also means I now have to put the roof up when it rains
