You folks going for the "pie on the beach" run?
Certainly seems a good idea to get a VW (Virginia Waters ) run in again soon! I'm up for that.
Beano,
I have trawled through that thread, but can't quite figure out the details... Maybe I am just thick, and/or impatient
What are the vital statistics for the Pie on the Beach?

Steve,
Good thanks. Been to the Virgina Water meet before? I hear it's quite good...
How was Reading today? No prob with the slow puncture?
H
Not been to VW before, quite fancy it though.
Reading was good fun, lots of cars, missed you and Mrs H
Slow puncture didn't deflate, very lucky I guess, but I did have to keep it real slow (60mph) to be safe, which was painfully boring. Been out in the sun all day....you should see my head - BRIGHT RED!!!
Sixspeed very kindly brought along a spare rear tyre, which I've borrowed, but will try to get the tyre repaired, and save lots of dosh.

Can't make PotB
Going to posh pub lunch with friends I haven't seen in ages...and they're paying
As for the VW Meet, how do you all feel about Sunday, 22 September? That makes 2 weeks after PotB, and 2 weeks before the next Surrey Run...or is that too many meets too close together?? and there is always the chance we may still have some decent weather
(Lucca, is that sunburn, or your hat??
)
Thoughts???

My head is bright red...I'm walking across the pavement, and cars stop, thinking I'm a red traffic light....that red. Painful too...must remember sun cream and keep the hat on for LONGER!!!
There's so many events happening, I'm all confused, and about to be without the car (air-con fitting) for a while. Not sure if I can make any of them
but will see. Definitely not tomorrow at Bagshot, or pie on the beach, but maybe VW and Surrey Run part 2.
