Fifth gear.....................New pants please
Discussion
Both cars looked awesome, and definitely not lacking in the raucousness and grunt that truly befits a TVR.
But why did the reviewer have to comment that the reliability would mean it couldn't be used as anything but a weekend/second car just because a couple of things in the cockpit dropped off. If they're going to talk to us about reliability then I'd be more concerned about what was going on under the bonnet than whether or not the carpet is properly glued under the glovebox.
Whilst I sympathise that they were simply trying to offer some balance in the review and have little information that they could provide on the long term servicing and reliablity issues, I still think they gave an unnecessarily negative position on using either of the cars as a daily driver.

Known as: VBH
Fastest she's ever driven: 178mph in an Aston Martin Vanquish S
Biggest crash: 24hr kart race at Le Mans when a piece of metal punctured her leg
Currently drives: Honda S2000, Mk2 VW Golf Gti, Ducati Monster
Dream car: Lamborghini Diablo GT
When she's not on Fifth Gear she's: Hunting for a husband, gentlemen
I prefer the Tuscan, just a prettier car IMHO
and did you hear VBH's squeals of delight... mind you, she does that in any car that she can get sideways...
As for the husband comment, I reckon shes already hooked up, but plays the single card to try an appeal to the 'male followers'..

Forget the airbags, more hot air from them both, who wants a weekend car only.
They both need to get real and remember both these cars have been driven by reporters for weeks so its not really much of a surpise to have some loose trim.
VBH having a knob fall of in her hands, well that is interesting, a bit to hard with the twisting action or was that just the back end sliding out!!

Good to see a good old V8 in there.

So VBH was showing off the airbags in the new TVR?
Airbags, they were rugby balls mate, anyone else think VBH has been eating all the pies ??
Yep, not the most flattering of shots I have seen her in...
Mr F
Still, all the same, i'd pay to come back as seat belt in her car
