TVR Gathering at Santa Pod 22nd May??
Discussion
As some of you will know I have been to Santa Pod a couple of times this year, to see what improvements the Emerald Remap by Joospeed made to my car. The results were very impressive and I have to say that I enjoyed my two days there. I didn't really know what to expect, but was pleasently suprised at the types of cars that attended the day, these included Porsches (including a 993 Turbo), a Ferrari, an AC Cobra, M5s, M3s, RS4s, various Imprezzas, Evos and Skylines, some impressive Fiat Coupe Turbos, and various dragsters and drag bikes. One thing that was noticeable was the attention that the TVR attracted, whether it was parked up or on the strip.
I am going back on May 22nd for one last run, and also because there will be a Reporter / Photographer there who wants to run an article in a well known Mag (although not confirmed yet) about TVRs. The last time I went I only noticed one other TVR, a Tuscan, that was parked up, and wondered if anyone else would be up for a day at the Pod on the 22nd? It would be good to see a variety of TVRs there whether they have a run down the strip or not. It might also give us a chance to run some TVRs against each other, this would look very impressive on the strip?
Let me know if you are interested....
Cheers
Jules.

Paddy, Steve, it would be great to see you both there. It is a case of turn up and run, there are no time slots. Usually you wait about 20-25mins between runs.
Paddy, you might find that you are re-aquainted with an old adversery of yours....a certain blue Fiat Coupe
, Hanny might be there, but if not there will be a couple more (even quicker) waiting

....Bump...
I am going on holiday for a week, so one last bump before I go away. Hopefully there will be a few more participants who come along, a Sagaris would be nice, so if any Sagaris owners are reading then you know what to do.....don't be scared I am sure you'll be the fastest there..

Would like to attend but couldn't commit for sure as my wife has recently given birth, I'll see if I can obtain the all important pass. On a serious note if it's a run what you brung day, if you let them know in advance they'll set aside some TVR only parking. I've been looking to arrange something for the Northants lot, but haven't quite got round to it. It's a tenner to get in and a further £15 to use the strip (unlimited runs).

are we invited just to watch,,, dont fancy going down the track but would like to come along to see you
RWYB days are open to the public. Tenner to get in. Spectate all you like. Watch some of the oddest vehicles you've ever seen going down a drag strip, from people's company Vectras to Top Street dragsters. Get destroyed by a FIAT 500 (the fact it has a small block Chevy so big the driver has to sit in the back seat is a *bit* of a giveaway.)

I've got twin neon purge valves now that give me that much each.....
I've always wondered what the lights under a Nova were called - don't think Jamie would have such silly lights
