Right,

First selection of images uploaded. Very sorry to say that I have not had the time to put them into any semblance of a web page, so just links at the moment.

I have the hi-res versions and will send these to Steve for inclusion on the final production CD. (If you want a particular pic in hi-res, just eMail me through my profile).

There are a number of other images, but I ran out of time this AM and didn't upload them from home PC, tomorrow maybe...

Harrigan

The Moggie driver calculated the average speed of the TVRs to the pub to be 20mph: no trouble for 48bhp to beat.

If you want them hosted (no matter how big) on some ultrafast web space - email them to me in <3Mb ZIP files (one per mail) and I'll upload them to some free space for you (if you ask nicely I'll also index them for you as well!).

Alternativly - I can give you some FTP space to upload the lot directly and transfer them from there.

Definitly some good cars and photos there, oh well, I got my Griff back from Mole last night after a week of it being away to have its heater Matrix done. That means I am ready and raring for the next get together. Yipeee.

Great pics - the Mondial looks very ordinary in the company of the curvy TVRs

note to self: never buy a Ferrari built during the 1980's

Perhaps you should have kept the comment to yourself too!

why? it's just my opinion - if the fella who owns the Modial likes it then that's fine by me.

Having grown up always wanting a Ferrari (246 Dino used to grace the wall of my bedroom next to a 250 GTO) I always thought they lost the plot design wise in the 80's (I suppose square was the fashion at the time - Esprit, Lambo Countach, Wedges etc.) hence my comment.

Paul

I own the Mondial, and yes it may look dated, but only in the same way that a wedge shape would look in the same company. Just as well I brought the Cerbera along or I may have felt totally out of touch.

Just to clarify - I wasn't having a go at anyone or their taste (apologies if offence was caused). I was remarking on how the design of one particular car (in this case the Mondial) has dated against some more contemporary machinery. The 'note to self' was because I have always aspired to own a Ferarri since I was a kid...
