Guys,
Could I please have a number count??. asked the same question on Pistonheads and the response at my reckoning was at least 40 cars!, absolutely brilliant !, this coming weekend being my 50th birthday would love to have something to look back on. ( when I am 90 and no f-----r remembers me, nor I remember them!!)

What seems to be missing here is a pre-pub meet followed by a mass drive to the pub!!!
you may think you know what's coming....
Well, I've been speaking to Chas at RacingGreen Cars - they're a TVR/Jaguar dealer just 15 mins away from Geoff's pub.
But not just any Jags - Arden performance tweaked supercharged Jags
In fact they're featured on Pistonheads this week - take a look!
I said to Chas:
I was wondering how you'd feel about a potential mass turnup? In 2001 we all met up at another dealers and they laid on coffee and biscuits whilst everyone turned up - then we left en-masse for a blast ending up at a pub.
I think if we said we were meeting at a Jaguar/TVR place there would be some serious interest - and that's before anyone mentions Arden. I know I fancy seeing some of these modified Jags in the flesh so to speak.

Have discussed the mass TVR turnup with the guys here today.
Go for it ! I will make sure there are some Arden Jags to see as well
as all the TVRs and Classic Jaguars. John is sorting the coffee,
biscuits etc.
So - who fancies leaving RacingGreen at 11ish to drive to Geoffs pub (15 mins away) via a gratuitiously long and potentially nippy route?
They'll be serving tea, coffee and biccies from around 10ish I guess.
Geoff's place (GU240DQ)
Racing Green (GU125QD)
David Greaves
P500DG
PS I Phoned Geoff up and he says "Aye, lad, do it!"

Sounds like a good scheme to me
, not sure that Geoffs car park is up to this level of interest going by the source thread, what the hell a blats a blat.
.
Even better if they had a T350 in the showroom but thats probably asking a tad too much
, coffee and bickies would be nice though
.
You up for it shnozz?
Harry

Don,t worry about the car park, officialy, I can park 70 cars. If we are all sensible then maybe 100.

If its Saturday (which I am thinking unless AG are open sundays too!) then I am in difficulty as I am off to watch the mighty Saints stuff the Brums.
d'oh - edited to add I have now looked at the title of the posting as well as the content

I should be game for this. Will make certain i am free and drop you an e-mail Harry.

OK we're (some Tuscans from the eGroup) are meeting at South Mimms services (J23 at 9:00). Let me know if you're coming or we'll go without you!
We'll get to Racing Green between 10 and 11.
Anyone know the Racing Green/Pirbright area who can devise a good Blast route to the Royal OAK ?
Cheers,
Andy.

I have just come from Racing Green (see other post).
John is more than happy for people to turn up before the pub meet, and suggest that 10-11am is a good time to arrive for bacon roles and coffee.
Could you let me know how many people are likely to turn up, as John would like to know how much bacon to supply
Put a post up if you are heading there first, and I will let John know the numbers.
