glowing 7&4 cylinder exhaust

My Griff had a severe mis-fire which cleared, worried i popped the bonnet to find 4&7 exhaust manifold glowing, having never popped the bonnet at night, surely its not right ? It was a gentle pootle back from the office on a cold night, the temp guage was normal. I have had bad start problems when the engine is hot, ie cranking for a minute before starting. I will speak to the "modders" on Monday but seekingr a quick pointer, thought i would ask here.

Could be a couple of duff injectors not opening properly or the wires are a bit manky in the terminal making those 2 run very week

Think i saw a thread on this a few weeks back, would think what the Guru just said could well be the problem. Hope you get it sorted.

David just had a quick look back but cant find the thread i was looking for but on another one a guy a had the same symptoms from a duff spark plug.

So maybe a ignition problem.

Done more checks, they all glow,its the shortest ones that glow more !! Must be fuel ?? I will run it today with the non cat tune resistor to see.
