Spotted a few TVRs - Chim and a Cerb at least in the workshop where Clarkson was having the Merc's interior re-done...anyone know which garage it is?

Was that the same garage they used for the car boats last week? I'm sure there was a chimaera in there.

It's Steve Heath's place I think and IIRC it was used for the "Toybota" Hilux and the Espace convertible. No doubt Mike can confirm when he's next on as he's been watching it eagled eyed I think!

Nothing to do with Steve Heath. I suspect you meant Steve Howard, as he does the Top Gear work and is a well known TVR independent, now based in High Wycombe

Its in High Wycombe, I saw the place when I met up with Gazman (aka Absolutely Shocks). There are some real beauties in there, including a 600hp racing mustang, a handful of Tuscan AJP racers and a road Tuscan with a Ford V8 shoehorned in. Don't know who the owner is, but he must have strong links with the TVR racing community.....

Doh! You're absolutely right Andy - I do mean Steve Howard (just automatically associate Steve Heath and TVR I guess!). I never was very good with names.

It's Richard Hammond who's given TVR a pasting recently - Clarkson's comments on TVR seem to have mellowed a bit recently.

True...he seemed to love the Sagaris!

Not to forget the shit he spouted off during the race between a TVR and a Noble was all scripted for entertainments sake!

And Hammond adores the Cayenne and rides horses....say no more!

Is that the Mustang with the raced NASCAR engine in it?

I wish I could have a soundbite of that engine as my email notification... MMm heaven!

If only it could fit in a Cerbie *drool*

... and somebody suggested today that that's the first time Clarkson has been near a TVR without slagging it off !!

Sands Ind Estate it is then, will have to take a look.

Does Steve only do race cars or general fast road prep for TVR's as well?

well on looking through old video clips found two top gear reviews of the t350 in 2002 and again in 2003 when it was officially launched, in the first hammond goes on about it saying how amasing a car it is when clarkson goes on about the noble, then in the more recent episode clarkson says the t350 was the best tvr he had driven to date, over the years have noticed top gear gives reviews which involve personal opinions more than facts praising or slating a car then 2 or 3 episodes later saying the complete opposite in general conversations with the audience or at the cool wall.
