He goes for the Griff!!! Therefore should be quite a bit of airtime chatting away about how great the car is I reckon!

The reason I know this is cuz a mate of mine works for the same company as the bloke who very wisely makes the right choice.

Haven't seen this prog - what time is it on? Just looked it up on Yahoo, and their website says 'cars up to £8k' - so how come a Griff?

Just had my Chimera back from its 12k service at a certain TVR dealer in Northwich. One of the service guys hapened to mention that their garage would be on telly this coming Monday - and that the guy on the TV show bought a Griff of them. Wise choice me thinks!

From the Guardians on-line TV guide

"Jim Henderson from the West Midlands turns to Top Gear presenter Jason Barlow and used-car dealer Dominic Littlewood for advice on how to spend his budget of £30,000 as he trades in his Audi S3 and goes in search of a noisy motor that corners like a train (888) (Stereo)"

Clever move - trading in a piece of soulless German engineering for Blackpools best.

Well bearing in mind its a Griff, the analogy is probably quite near the mark

The Audi S3 is a fine piece of automotive engineering for long motorway journeys, snow & ice, and trips to the tip. That's what ours is used for anyway!

For other journeys I take the Griff

i do hope he dosen't rap it round a tree judging by his driving! he had a "moment" just on the test drive!
and it was one of the last 100...... liked his quote about the boxster..... "if it was a person, it would be my mum".
