Following our fantastic TVR Power Trip to Switzerland, here’s a chance for a reunion. Thanks again to Dom @ Power and Darren @ Driving Adventures

Any other Tiv’er’s out there are more than welcome to join us. Just post your name.

Ok, the trip.

I propose meeting outside Shrewsbury, it got good motorway links via Telford from the Midlands and the North.

I’ll let those who sign up known the exact details a few days before the 28th.

The trip is around 200 miles from Shrewsbury to Chester.

We'll go to Oswestry and then Machynlleth - really good fast winding roads.

Upto Trawsfynydd (Snowdonia) and over the moors to Bala.

There a really good pub, oldest in Wales, Ty Mawr outside Corwen which we could make for lunch. Landlord's a Evo speed freak, but we can't hold that against him.

After lunch we head back towards Bala and join the Evo triangle used by the car magazines. This takes us up into the forests around Llyn Brenig (stop at lake for photo's), then drop down into Denbigh.

Quick blast into and out of Ruthin takes us up the Nant a Garth Pass (a bit like Switzerland - use you imagination).

We'll proceed down the Horse Shoe pass (we might want to go up as well, it's a real laugh) and then to Llangollen.

From Llangollen we'll travel via some nice fast flat back roads to Chester.

Those who wish to stay the Saturday night for a few beers and some food; I sort out a country hotel. I’ll get some prices tomorrow.

Or Chester gives quick access to the Motorways and home.

Oh, a quick legal disclaimer - this isn't a road race but fast paced trip through wales obeying the limits.

Would love to of gone - be nice to have a "day off" and be guided by someone else!

I'll be abroad that weekend and the one before which I think was your original date proposal.

Have fun all - remember if a speed camera flashes at you, unlike Switzerland, a fine will find its way to your doorstep!

John - is the car still striped up?

Shame about that Darren,

I' am sure your working on a far more glamourous adventure for us all.

I haven't volunteered to lead, I've got the route though. Hoping Dom's up for that bit.

Pleased to have you join the crowd Gandalf. It will give you a chance to show the whipper snappers what a real Tiv is about. They're a great crowd.

Good to hear from you Grahamn. I'am going to find a really nice country hotel. There a fair few to choose. I'll wait to the weekend and then make a hotel recommendation.

Woody-oTT, I'd love to get my hands on the DA radio's. But I've got to tread carefully, Darren's and Graham Driving Adventures is a brillant tour company, and they got to make a living so I don't want to impose on them. I mean where else can you get a tour team that provides a race style tour at the front, a laid back tour at the back and ensure no one gets lost.

cmr2payne where did you get your radios from?

Tony are you going to join?
