Thought I'd add this as a new thread so it doesn't get missed - don't want to step on any toes however, not being from Kent myself or having my own TVR 
Anyway, I think it would be a good idea for those from Kent to arrange a convoy through the tunnel to meet up at Thurrock services with the Essex lot... there must be more than 2!

through the tunnel to meet up with the Essex group sounds good to me!

FTR I'm in Essex, though I know that santas little helper is chomping at the bit to help you guys out with your convoy to meet us at Thurrock, just the other side of the dartford tunnel.

I will be coming up from Battle (near Hastings) so have a bit of flexibility on where I pick up your convoy.
I am new to this sort of thing so don't know what the form is and how things get sorted out.

Foreigner? You've a bloody TVR man! Why not join up at Bapchild, its a fairly straight route from Hastings. By the way this will be my first "convoy" as well, should be ACE!

That looks good to me - Autoroute says its just under the hour to Bapchild then 35 mins to Thurrock services.
Will keep an eye on postings for times - hopefully all the connections can be put on this thread.

Well as we all need to be at the Ace Cafe by 12 midday (The ACE Café, on the North Circular a mile from Hanger Lane www.ace-cafe-london.com/)I would suggest a meet for those heading on the A2 at abt 9.00 then set off for Thurrock via the tunnel at 9.20? get there just before 10 I guess, what do you all think?
Nells Cafe is on the A2 London bound, take the Gravesend East (first exit after the services) follow slip road round and over the A2 turn right at the T junction and immediately right into the lorry park
