They IMO were good.

One even had a SOH having a word with my driver at the lights getting out of Ace commenting on his rather louder than most exhausts and asked him to pull over. Then swiftly winked and wished us a good day! hehe

Brilliant!

Agreed, the old bill were on top form today, turned an occasional blind eye when i was doing what a few young lads were asking me to (give it some), all the ones we spoke to were on good sprits and were enjoying themselves as much as we were.

I think they quite enjoyed the idea of some "demonstraters" who were enjoying themselves and not trying to have a fight or provoke a reaction!!

Anyone clock the traffic warden in whitehall who thought his Christmas bonus had come early, until the BIB told him to leave it. The police were great today!

A big thank you to the officer who helped out those drivers who were in difficulty just off Horse Guards Parade. It's not good form to stop outside the MOD don't you know!!! Steve and I were complimented for stopping to help drivers in need. What a top bloke.

Yes agreed they were superb, I thanked quite a few personally and I mentioned this to David and we will be sending a thank you to the police I would imagine.

I tried to get him, but he was quite quick on his feet .... mental note, must try harder.

Usually we are all pretty quick to criticise the police , so lets be just as quick with our praise for the BiB's today: clapclapclap

Indeed, credit where it's due... from what I saw, they dealt with some pretty difficult traffic and weather conditions with humour and tolerance. Much appreciated

Cirks, I'm so pleased to know that you got home safely. That car of yours is gorgeous and I'm sure can be put right. Here's hoping!
Best wishes,
Karen :0)

Hey Cirks- We saw your bbq but were the other side of the central reservation stuck at the lights.
Sorry we couldn't help you push it down the side street & hope there was no serious damage. The smoke cloud looked impressive yikes

I saw`one policeman march over to my car parked in the middle of Whitehall and have a good look at it... so I rushed over and asked if he wanted to buy it! Ended well with banter.

Hopefully not to upset the non British members of the UK?, joking but suspect a Health & Safety issue this time? Fantastic pics of the rally, and fantastic turn out, wish I could have been there to see it.

Agreed thought the police in Whitehall were great , didn't expect to park up. I thanked a couple of them & they seemed to be enjoying the event.I expressed my thoughts to a press association person who thought they were probably sympathetic to the cause & quite liked the cars too!
