Thunder Team Announcement - The THUNDERBALL
Discussion
Mods, please sticky
Good afternoon all. Hope everyone had a good Christmas and isn't too hung over today!
Many of you have been recently asking how the money raised by London Thunder is to be spent.
On Saturday the 10th of February 2007, the team that brought you London Thunder will be hosting "The Thunder Ball" in the Empress Ballroom at the Winter Gardens, Blackpool.
Your generous donations will be used to pay for the workforce and their partners to enjoy a seated buffet dinner and drinks followed by dancing to a live band and disco.
Invitations have already been sent to the workforce, and there will be an opportunity for you to purchase tickets to attend as soon as we have a better understanding of the overall numbers of attendees and costs.
It is intended that this will be the 'mother of all parties', a memorable and lasting tribute from TVR owners to the TVR workforce, and another opportunity for the workforce and us enthusiasts to socialise.
Please put this date in your diary, and watch this space for further details.

Hi everyone, thanks for the invite, we will be there, quite looking forward to it as we couldn't go to LONDON THUNDER.
Kirsty, why didn't you pop in for a coffee.
Thanks again everyone, see you all in February.
Paul & Janette.

I would have loved to - but at the point of dropping your invite off, we still had all of Fleetwood and central Blackpool to do! We finished deliveries about 6.30 on Christmas Eve.
Hope you all had a great xmas
love Kirsty x
DRAT......... will be holidaying in Egypt on the 10th - would rather be at the Blackpool party having already been there for the Blackpool Rally and then the London Rally. Anyhow I cannot have everthing and my wife was very understanding about me heading south from the lakes for both those events - I bought her some great xmas pressies to compensate for my TVR trips south. I am sure it will be a fabulous event so all the best to the organisers -I am sure Julian Cooch will be there with his Tamora. Richard

I'll be there..Can you put me up for the night LARCO???
Yes I could no problem but I have heard that you sleep walk to the nearest garage and polish any TVR there in, in your sleep. Is this true or is your compulsive polishing affliction just confined to waking hours

Just make sure your car is in the garage then - might save you a job

I certainly will be, Richard!
Shame that you're not available. Of course, this is first and foremost for our friends at the factory - may they have a fabulous night to remember.

I think you will find that not all of the workforce have been invited.
Sorry to hear that, I either didn't have your correct address or it is an out of town one that royal mail should be well on with delivering.
Give me a shout and I will wave my magic wand and put you on the VIP list! I don't want anyone left out
YHM btw
