Hi everyone wavey

Promenade, Factory & country Run Sun 11th Feb 2007.

11.00 Meet up at Star Gate/Sand Dunes

12.00 Do a run along the Blackpool prom ending at the factory. Hopefully we can all get some nostalgic photo's at the factory & maybe some of the workers could join us there

Onto Garstang, arriving at 2pm ish for a spot of lunch & a chin-wag. Then on for a run through the Trough of Bowland.

Just sorting out the final details thumbup

Hi everyone wavey

I'm getting loads of people asking about a run down Blackpool Prom on Sunday 11th Feb 07.

There's obviously a fair amount of interest in this, so I thought I'd post an idea and see what you all think.

NTEL do you still have the route info from the Blackpool Rally?

What do you reckon?

Thanks for pulling this into some sense of order Sgt Major...I will be on parade with W183PKS...don't know how shiny my boots will be though! And if Woody and Colin are in the same hotel...so will they!

Thats good to hear! I'm not sure as yet on departure. I'm gonna have a look at some routes, see whether we want to stop for lunch before or afteretc. I will update the first post when we have all come to a decision.

Re. pub - I don't know the area at all, so the only pub that springs to mind is the Red Lion! But it does have lots of parking. Or were we thinking of out of Blackpool after a run?

Not sure yet - I am hoping Mr Sails is going to offer us some good advice

Is there a Back Home this year, I didn't see it on the planner? If there isn't I think we should make the most of this run - what does everyone else think?

How about Owd Nells again (same as @ Back Home) but with a bit more direct route!!!! From the factory straight on to Amounderness Way - Garstang Road all the way to St. Michaels. Stop of at Owd Nells and then maybe have a drive upto and around Beacon Fell possibly stop again at the visitors centre for a coffee.
