A pal is going to help me remove the rocker covers - as they're due for a fresh lick of paint. Can anyone point me towards the correct stuff.. ie correct colour (purple 5 litre engine) & good heat resistance? The bloke that's going to clean them can also paint but I need to supply

Any advice on top greatly appreciated!

EdT

I think that these were powder-coated rather than painted.

Gas mark 2 then, and while the missis is out!

I did my 2.8i covers with red hamerite (smoothrite) paint which worked well.

EDT,

If you need some help with your rocker covers, I would be happy to help. Look at my profile and you will see what can be achieved. I am running stuff to the blasters and paint shop all the time, would be happy to pop your bits in with a batch.

Email me if you would like me to do them.

You don't live very far away.
