Hi all,
Im Going to Prestwold Hall tomorrow to drive 5 supercars (Xmas pressie) - The Lamborghini Diablo SV, Dodge Viper RT/10, the Supercharged Jaguar XKR, Lotus Exige, and the Noble M12 GTO.....around a 1.7 mile purpose-built course!
Which one do you think im gonna want to take home the most at the end of the day? and do you think i will be dissapointed when i get back into my chimaera?...i doubt it!

I have always wanted a Diablo, but i'm also looking forward to the Noble...

I will let ya know how it goes.

I think the Noble will be the most fun. I would love to have a go in one.

The supercharged Jags are not that fast - I drove my fathers XJR which is the same engine and it seemed sluggish. I suppose this is becuase they are quite heavy.

I have also driven a Dodge Viper on a track - it was crap. The instructor admitted it was crap too and said they only include it to attract extra sales.

The Noble will feel the most chuckable. But the biggest sense of occassion and assault on your anatomy will come from the Diablo.

I drove them last year.
The Diablo was the most impressive despite its size it flew round the course. Only criticism was the hefty grearbox but all said it was gorgeous
The Lotus was of course the nimblest in the corners but without the grunt and basic
The Jag was just as fast without seeming to be going very quick, very civilised yet quick.
The Noble was the fastest of the lot, very quick in every department.
The viper was a very fast bus with poor brakes.

The noble was the the fastest but the Diablo won my heart although it was a well used motor as they all were and probably the Viper was suffering more because of this.
I would have loved to have had a go in my Tiv but after seeing how rough the track was I am glad I wasn't offered the chance.

All said it was a well organised afternoon and a lot of fun. The intructors were very helpful in tidying your line and only too pleased to let you open the cars up. A great experience paid for by my boss
