Following on from the Xmas North Wales Tour (24 cars in the rain) it’s time to start again.

I know many of you improved your wet weather driving skills so hopefully we can work on our dry driving skills this time!

The date is the 24th March and it’s a 2 day week end tour to Abersoch (Monte Carlo / New Quay of North Wales) in aid of Wispa which works to protect wild animals. We raised £240 last time.

Basic Overview
Meet up at Oswestry at the Little Chef
Lakes and Forests of North Wales in the Morning
Go Kart grand Prix at lunch time
Coastal Run in afternoon
Stop Over in Abersoch at hotels - see below
Evening Meal Buffet style in Abersoch Yatch Club
Sunday hoon around Anglesey
Turn to Oswestry

It’s a bit of a pick and mix this time. You can join for a day or two. Go Karting is optional and some great roads are available to hoon around whilst we fight it out on the track.

The costs

To join the trip it’s £10 per car towards Wispa
Go-Karting is £38 per person if you wish to join – www.gygkarting.co.uk please ring 01490 420770 to reserve your place £10 deposit required.
Hotels in Abersoch - £45 - £90 per room – details to follow
Evening buffet at Yacht club £15-£20.

I’ll post full hotel and Go kart booking details tomorrow

Sat Nav and professional radios will be available to hire from www,driving-adventure.co.uk this time. Darren is working out a price.

RumRunner is working on the Abersoch Evening so a big thanks, Cmr2payne is working on the West Midlands Convoy and I am Mr Route again!

If your joining for the saturday and Sunday you'll need a hotel. All the following are near each other in Abersoch and a few 100 yds from the evening meal venue

www.egryn.com/ - Recommended choice by RumRunner our local insider. I've got a rate of £70 for a double or £45 for a single. If anyone wishes to share a room it's £35 per person

www.neigwl.com/index.html - Expensive really nice option

So you're fit - your car's fit, you need to treat Helen to the French Riviera mate!
