Hi everyone

I'm being cheeky here - but maybe someone would be able to help?!

I live in Worcester and I'm getting married on July 28th in Kempsey, Worcestershire. I would love for my fiance to be able to arrive at our venue in his favourite car, a TVR 350.
I have looked into hiring one for him, but the minimum weekend hire is £1295 with an upfront £5000 insurance clearance needed - which unforutnately i just can't do.

So - if anyone can help obviously i'm willing to pay for your time and fuel and it doesn't even necessarily need to be a 350, just the fact that it's a TVR would thrill him.

Thanks for reading folks.

Kind regards
Sarah

There is actually a company called Groom Vroom who will run the groom to the church in a TVR, they are based not a million miles from you.

Hi Sarah
Are you just looking for a delivery service?
Because I doubt very much if you'll find anyone to lend you a car!

Hi Arnd

No, i wouldn't dream of asking anyone to lend us a car, just someone who would be willing to drive my fiance to the venue would be enough.

Note that even if you actually OWN your own TVR, apparently you can't drive your new wife to the reception in it as allegedly her dress won't fit in the passenger side. If it wasn't for the grief, I'd make her walk!

Grr.

Hi,

I'm in Cheltenham and would be happy to give your intended a lift, not a T350 though, does he like Cerbera's?

Hi,

Not 350 but a blue 500 Chimaera, but the roof would have to be down of course.

You could try contacting the regional organiser in your nearest region.

Sarah,
What time are you looking at? We are at the Wedge Fest at Ettington which is around 35 miles from Kempsey so if it's early then we could do it - the Griff is almost white too.

Sarah i know Bob the RO put a message out to the Region on this. Did you not get any responses?

I suggested that you might have ended up with a convoy....

Sarah,

I live in Gloucestershire, work in Worcester.

Looks like you've got a few offers but if you want a convoy and another Chimaera I may
be able to help.

All depends on what date is involved, when is the wedding.

Hi everyone,

What an amazing bunch of guys you all are, bow i've been absolutely overwhelmed with your responses and suggestions of other places i could try if not successful on here. I never imagined a response like this.

I must admit that i'd fancied a moggy minor as my transport - but could easily be swayed by a tvr, lol scratchchin

But what the hell, a convoy sounds fab, you can all come rofl
