Control of TVR and the cash. What would you do?

This is a subject covered many times I'm sure.
However, this is what I would do. (briefly)
Starting very small, with a small work force and with small premises, I would look at ways to reintroduce an improved Griffith. I know sales figures dwindled at the end, but an improved version would sell in my opinion. I've never met anyone who dislikes anything about the Griff, with regards it's shape and sound. Only a few folks that have owned and had problems with Griff may have dislikes. I'm going to upset a few Tiv owners/fans here and I apologise in advance for it, but remember this is only my opinion. Having owned two so far, the Griffith is the only shape worth making.There I've said it! The Griff shape will still be standing in the hall of classic design long after they finally stop making the 911 shape, there is a case in point, why stop making the 911 shape when it works! I would start building the Griff again and it would still have an RV8 and the build quality would be good enough to rival anything the Germans could build. Stop me if I'm being too British! I might even build it with an all alloy body.
This maybe/is a ridiculous, naive fantasy, but I would be first at the door to sign the order book.
I have been manufacturing Catering trailers from a family business factory since 2005 (Bentley Bridge Trailers)
I wish I could afford to do this, or club together with other enthusiasts, share holders etc, but as things are for TVR on British soil, it's another 'dead and gone' story.

wellcome ! there will certainly be lots of griff drivers around in the uk (or even the "handfull" within the contintent) who would like their car with the great griff-design plus a more powerfull engine. but - as a matter of fact - there should be no change to the design. its as classic as the morgan design in between. so your idea will depend simply on how much fans you can reach - which is difficult as i suppose - and how much of them you can really reach.
am sorry to tell that, but as i allready own one, i´d never buy another one.
but that is probably and also "the chance" ! those who do not own a griff, they are the potential. Hard job, but morgan successfully did it over decades and i personally think of the griff as the the lost and only competitor versus morgan - still.
or go and buy an 911 >sleep<
