Alex,

This ones been done a couple of times on the General Gassing forum.

I run an Ipaq 3790 with the Navman 3000 sleeve. Cheap and good results.

Have a search on the General Gassing forum for "sat nav"

Cheers

I ran Tom Tom on my iPAQ for a while (before the one of the connections broke) and it was very good. Shame the hardware that came bundled with it wasn't quite so good I'd say Tom Tom is the best PDA GPS Software out there. Check www.pocketgps.co.uk for details.

Cheers,
Steve

I Use Navman 3400 on my Ipaq 3950

Upgraded the software from Navman 300 last year.

Absolutley brilliant, and is easier (in my opinion) than Tom Tom.

I have the whole uk on a 128mb card. Europe can be downloaded from the web as well.

I'm currently waiting for the complete incar kit to be installed, which has permanant aerial.

Ditto - NAVMAN 3000 upgrade to 3400 version on IPAQ. Apart from one small issue (which NAVMAN are getting fixed for moi - specific to my needs) it's better than the X5's system by far....
