Toyota Corolla to TVR Chimaera!

Currently scooting around adelaide in a 1981 white Toyota Corolla. Cost me 480 dollars (approximately 10 english pounds) and like a goodun, but gets the job done. Looking to upgrade to a chimaera when i get home in august. Just wondering if anyone else can match this car's 'village' appeal in their pre-chimaera days?
