Recovery vehicle in the background in one of the pics says "The TVR Centre", so might be worth a call to see whether they remember it.

I'm afraid it's another scam.

The part of the ad they add on, is the "email me on the left hand side blah blah blah" bit.

Good to see our Nigerian friend has put the price up though.

Last week's one's were £5K.

They're genuine ad's all be it, old ones, that they've copied & stored.

They always seem to advertise two cars at at time.

This particular scrotum, has a rather fetching Land Rover for sale aswell, coincidentally, like all of the other scrotes, he also owns two properties, as the two cars are at different houses.

We should run a raffle, as to which one of us, See's our own car advertised first.

You know it's going to happen

Sorry for deviating from this post slightly but could anybody tell me if there is a facility on Pistonheads to report a potential scam in the pistonheads classifieds as I wouldnt want to see anybody get "caught out". Thanks in advance, Col.

Have you ever tried to report a suspect ad on eBay? You couldn't make it more difficult or convoluted were the government tasked with it. rolleyes

It does my head in, the amount of traders posing as private sellers.

Q) How long have you had the car ?
A) Two years
Q) is it registered to the address I'm coming to see the vehicle at ?
A) err... no, I haven't had chance to register it.
Q) I notice it's only done 20,000 miles, is there any service history or old mot's ?
A) No, it's been lost
Q) how many previous owners
A) I think it's had two
Q) You think ? Have you got the log book ?
A) No

Replace some of the answers, for (quickly change subject) "it's a lovely colour, gleaming paintwork, air con"

...and say "I'm ringing about the car you have advertised"
Trader usually says "which car?"
