TVR only track evening (Monday September 3rd 2007)

Okay, I've been having email 'ping pong' with the track day organiser at Brands for a few weeks trying to get an evening event arranged close to when The TVRCC Speed Championship guys will be competing at the venue.

Well it looks like it's all come together!

There will be a TVR only track evening, on Monday 3rd September on the Brands indi circuit.

The agreement that I have with Brands is that this is, at present, a TVR ONLY event, if however we don't fill ALL spaces then it will be opened up to other marques.

I will not be making any money from this, Brands (MotorsportVision) will be running the event, it was just my idea.

I was at an event like this last night and it was excellent, a great way to get a feel for the track without it costing you an arm and a leg, so, I hope to see as many of you as possible in September.

Do you mean the Dunlop Tuscan Challenge? That is at Brands Hatch on 1st & 2nd September.

I'm interested in doing this but does anyone know about the noise restrictions...I have a 450 Chim which currently has a full decat set of ACT manifolds, y-piece and cherrybomb exhaust and is therefore a tad over 102db! I have noticed that Bomber's decat 500 and a pre-cat griff are on the list though so how are you guys getting around the limit? - will a set of silencers cut it?

last time I was measured at an airfield track day at 102dB, but was lucky cos they let me go on. Now have bought set of ACT exhaust cans so should be below 100dB I hope but not yet been checked with these.
